Inventing a Bright Future

Seeing the presence of an active group of inventors in the country is a good sign that there is hope for us after all. It is the author’s belief that apart from political stability and apart from entrepreneurship per se, the country seriously need more vigorous, active, successful and money-making inventors.

Young Inventors
What is more positive is to realize that the desire to invent and come up with new and useful products has been preoccupying the minds of the youth. The most impressive invention in 2008’s National Inventors Week was actually from a group of young inventors, who are all below 25. This was the group or rather a company headed by Michael Poblete of Pobletech. They developed an automated surveillance system that can be applied in agricultural plantations, traffic monitoring and search and rescue operations. It was impressive in a sense that it was able to integrate mechanics with computer and robotic technologies.

Miguel Poblete, a Libra inventor, who was able to connect in a truly Libran fashion, different technologies and inventors together.
