Stock trading to be Taught in High School

There is bit of good news for the local markets. The PSE and the Department of Education have recently signed an agreement to teach stock trading along with
financial literacy to 4th year high school students. This will be integrated in the
Araling Panlipunan curriculum.

The effect will be surely be years away but this will surely make the Philippines more competitive in the next decades.

As I wrote in Astro-time 2009, the Philippine's planetary ruler is Mercury and it will be moving out of its weakness this year. That will make the country more qualified to play a greater role in the ASEAN and the world.


I just hope that whatever delays or misunderstanding the Mercury Retrograde brings to this project will not be so bad.
